The Association of Danish Pharmacies

The Association of Danish Pharmacies is the employer and professional organisation representing pharmacies in Denmark. Its 180 members are all proprietor pharmacists in Denmark. The association’s Executive Board has the overall responsibility for its activities and political work.

Pharmadanmark

Pharmadanmark is a community in life science. It is a more than 150-year-old trade union and was previously an association exclusively for pharmacists. Pharmadanmark represents life science (community pharmacy, regions and municipalities, state, industry and students) and has approximately 9,000 members. We organise employees and leaders working throughout the entire life science value chain; from idea to patient, in pharmaceutical and medical companies within industrial biotechnology, at universities and hospitals, in regulatory bodies, at pharmacies, and in regions and municipalities. Approximately 65% of the members have a Master of Science in Pharmacy (MSc Pharm)

Members of our organisation play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of all life science products and thus also patient safety. Our members contribute immensely to the improvement and safer treatment of diseases with drugs and other innovative health solutions — from research in medicine and medical equipment to quality assurance and advice.
